Abstract
It is well recognized that the commonest cause of renal allograft loss is the irreversible rejection. In order to prevent from this catastrophic event, high dose steroid and azathioprine administration are widely accepted as means of antirejection therapy. But serious infection and other morbidity associated with the administration of corticosteroid remain a significant problem. We have described two patients with acute allograft rejection whose renal function did not improved by solumedrol pulse therapy but improved by adjunctive ALG treatment. iVo significant adverse effect was observed during the ALG administration.
