| Abstract |
|
We experienced a case of congenital huge pa- rarenal pseudocyst(urinoma) in a 10 month-old- female baby. On palpation the abdominal wall was slightly rigid and a soft, nontender, round mass(15x15cm) was found occupying the entire left side of the abdomen. Examination of the urine was negative for albumin and sugar with microscopic study within normal range. The diagnosis was confirmed by intravenous pyelography, renogram and voiding cystourethro- gram. Left pyeloplasty and pigtail stent indwelling were performed and 1,000 ml of urine like fluid was aspirated. A brief summary of literature is presented. |
