정상 소아에서의 신장크기에 관한 연구

Abstract
Renal size measured in 752 normal children in Korea by sonogram. Renal length and width was graphed to provide a growth chart of normal renal size vs age. Ki- dney length and width was well correlated with height rather than age or weight. Thus kidney length could be calculated from the equation: y=1.64+0.047x, where y is length of the kidney and x, the height in centimet- ers. Kidney length also could be calculated from the eq- uation:y=4.48+0.360x, where y is length of the kidney in centimeters and x, the age in years. Kidney width was about 529: of the length. The mean difference in length between right and left kidneys was 1.6 mm.
