Abstract
A thromboembolism remains one of the most serious complications in patients with neprotic syndrome. The precise mechanism for this complication is not clear yet, but several coagulation abnormalities in nephrotic syn- drome may be operatable in combination with predis- posing factors to induce the hypercoagulable state. The incidence of arterial thromboembolism is less common than that of venous thromboembolism in nephrotic syn- drome. We experienced a case of minimal change nephrotic syndrome complicated by the thrombosis of right com- mon iliac artery. After emergent abdominal aortogram, we treated it with thrombolytic agent and anticoagulant successfully. There was no recurrence evidence of thrombosis 2 months following treatment. The authors report this case with a reviews of literature.
