| 급속진행성 사구체신염을 동반한 Crescentic IgA 신증 1예 |

| Abstract |
|
A 74-year-old male patient developed rapidly progres- sive acute renal failure following flame burn injury. He was found to have normal renal function and urinary finding at the time of admission. On 15th hospital day he developed oliguria, proteinuria, weight gain, hyperten- sion, renal failure. Percutaneous renal biopsy was done under the ultrasonographic giude at 75th hospital day. Renal biopsy showed extensive circumferential cres- cents by light microscopy and granular mesangial deposits of IgA by immunofluorescence. Renal function soon progressed to end stage renal failure despite of methylprednisolone pulse therapy. IgA nephropathy should be considered as a rare cause of crescentic glomerulonephritis and/or rapidly progressive glomer- ulonephritis. |
