| Abstract |
|
Enuresis is the involuntary discharge of urine occuring beyond the age when control of urinary bladder should have been aquirsd. Eighteen children from the age of 5 to 15 yr old with enuresia were considered for this atudy. The authora performed the clinical analysis of enuresis, and evaluated the effectiveness and safety of imi- pramine in therapy for' enureaia. The results wero follows; 1) Enuresis ia more common in boya than girla (M: F=l. 5: 1). 2) Pifty percents of enuretics has parental enu- resis hiatory. S) The prominent symptoms of enuretica were frequency(67%) and urgency(53%). 4) Among 12 treated children, 5(or 42%) were cured and another 5(42%) were greatly improved. The mean duration of treatment was 2. 3 months. 5) Minor sids effects occurred in 67% of patients. |
