| Abstract |
|
The present study was undertaken to obtain the amount of daily sodium and potassium intake of patients in soonchunhyang chunan Hospital. samples had been undertaken for each diet from 3 consecutive collection in March and April, 1985. Each diet was burned and to the ash, HNOS solution was mixed in 1: 5 proportion and then Na and K were amalyzed by flame photometry. The mean Na and K contents in one regular diet were 78. 95 ±1 meq of Na" and 19. 0±0 5 m eq of K' Daily mean Na and K intake of normal adult were 236. 7meq of Na' (6.7 gm of Na, 13. 84 gm of NaC1) and 57 meq of K" (2. 2 gm of K) |
